Shot during the covid lockdown period in January 2022, this was a massively ambitious project cooked up between maverick director and previous collaborator Antony Hoffman and the creative agency team for WeatherTech at the time.
They wanted me to design and build from scratch a set of WeatherTech ninja meets pit stop crew costumes for five stuntmen to play as WeatherTechs near superhuman automotive equipment installation crew.
We had a lot of fun with this, making the bulk of the costumes in London and then putting the final touches on in Los Angeles after extensive fittings to get the look and fit exactly right.
An exhausting but highly rewarding process, the client were so happy with the end result they cut another TV commercial from the footage and then went on to shoot a teaser clip for the *** using some great closeups of the costumes and really showing off how much we had gone to town on quality and detail when putting them together.
